Angular Cheilitis is a painful disease where cracks and lesions occur on the mouth and lips and during severe infection the tongue can also get affected. Fortunately today we have lots of very effective Angular Cheilitis cures. However this is a specific problem and there is no one treatment that cures it all.

A person is more likely to get infected if he or she has low immunity. People wearing ill-fitting dentures, having a habit of thumb sucking, and nail biting are also more likely to suffer from this disease. The disease can also be caused by yeast or bacterial infection. For example a very effective prevention or relief method for a person with ill-fitting dentures is to get his dentures re-fitted and soak the dentures in antiseptic solution every night. Angular Chelitis Cures

People with bad habits such as sucking thumbs or biting nails need to exert control and get rid of them. These habits can cause fungus and bacterial infections. People suffering from bacterial infection should apply topical cream containing antibiotics and those with yeast infection should use anti-fungal and steroid cream. Those with chapped lips can apply shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, Vaseline etc. If you have vitamin deficiency then including a vitamin rich diet or take vitamin supplements.

Combination of the treatment methods mentioned above is usually more than enough to remove Perleche from your life, small lifestyle changes are often the best cure for most health problems. And one last tip: do not confuse this problem with cold sores, cold sores are caused by HPV virus while Cheilosis is in no way connected with HPV. Angular Chelitis Cures

Did you know that many, perhaps 75%, of all conventional medications are refinements of herbal medicines? One example of this is the isolation of morphine from opium in 1806. This was the first time that chemical methods were used to extract the active chemical constituents of an herb. The chemical processes used to isolate morphine led to the production of codeine, the widely used cough suppressant. There are countless examples of commonly used medications which come from various plant materials, some of which can often be found right in your own backyard.

Although you should always consult your physician for medical conditions before using any treatment, natural or synthetic, the purpose of this article is to inform you of the various botanically-derived remedies that may be considered for treating some of the most common skin problems. There are many advantages to using herbs rather than the drugs derived from them. A standard medication consists of one, or occasionally two, medically active chemical compounds, plus carrier compounds and a buffer. Herbs and herbal formulas usually contain at least dozens, and in many cases, hundreds, of active ingredients. The many active ingredients act on the body, and on one another, simultaneously. This serves to make the primary active ingredients of the herb more effective. It also serves to prevent the toxic reactions that can lead to side effects. Herbal remedies are more likely to correct conditions without creating additional problems.

Although there are many techniques for making herbal remedies, for the purpose of skin and hair treatments and to simplify the process for home remedy use, I recommend purchasing the herb in the form of its essential oil. Essential Oils are highly concentrated extracts of the herb and can be purchased in small dropper bottles at your local nutrition store or online. Just one drop of essential oil is often equal to 1 full ounce of the plant.

Before applying essential oil to skin or hair, you must ALWAYS dilute the oil first. A carrier (or base) is used for this purpose. The carrier can be a natural oil like olive, jojoba, apricot kernel or similar oil. You could also use your favorite unscented lotion or shampoo or conditioner as a carrier base. I often use organic aloe vera gel as a base for treating skin conditions because of the extraordinary healing benefits of the aloe vera plant. I also prefer the use of aloe vera gel because it is not oily or greasy on the skin.

A good rule of thumb for diluting the essential oil into the carrier base for the purpose of treating a skin ailment is to use about 8 to10 drops of essential oil to 1 full ounce of the carrier base. If you are using more than one type of essential oil, then divide the drops evenly to equal 8 to10 drops total of the various essential oils to 1 full ounce of the carrier base.

Below is a list of 40 herbs, each with its summary of healing benefits. Simply choose between 1 to 3 herbs to use for the particular ailment you are treating and add the appropriate number of drops to your carrier base as explained above. Stir it or shake it to blend the ingredients well and store in a tightly sealed container. Apply it to the affected area 2 to 3 times per day.

Most people are pretty nervous when preparing for an interview, whether it’s their first or 51st time. However there are some individuals who are beyond nervous when interview time rolls around – they’re flat out fearful. It may be that they’re extremely shy, have inherent “stage fright,” or are just afraid of facing someone perceived to be an authority figure.

If you fall into the category of being fearful of job interviews, there are a few ways to side step the fear and enter the situation with confidence. There is a lot of advice out there on how to handle yourself in an interview…and here are some more.

Make Sure You’re Prepared

One reason that people get nervous before and during interviews is because they’re anticipating the unknown – they simply have no idea what will be discussed and fear they won’t have the answers. There’s nothing like preparation to make a person feel confident. This means, gathering a list of questions that are often asked on interviews (which can be found all over the Internet) and running through the list everyday from the time you learn of the interview until the actual day.

If you’re not sure how you effective going through the list will be for you, you can always have a friend step in and act as an interviewer. The more closely you recreate the interview, the more comfortable you’re likely to be in the real thing. You can rehearse the ideas you want to get across, practice confident body language, and even learn how to ad-lib a bit by having your friend throw in questions not on your list.

Wear Your Favorite Outfit

If you have a favorite business outfit that you feel very comfortable in, wear it. This will make a huge difference in your interview. Be sure to wear something that is comfortable and well-fitting so that you don’t have to worry about constantly adjusting your clothes.

“Relax, Relate, Release”

You may have heard this phrase from time to time to signify calming down before a stressful situation, but it’s something that you should definitely consider before your interview. By taking a deep breath before walking into the room (relax), remembering that the interviewer is another person just like you (relate), and letting go of your fears by embracing this wonderful experience (release), you will feel great and exude the confidence you need to ace the interview.

Rely On You

Sometimes, job candidates are so desperate to find work that they pretend to be someone they’re not just to get the job. This inevitably makes for an uncomfortable (if not scary) interview – and the interviewer can usually read right through the “fakeness. You’ll be very relieved that you didn’t put on an act If you end up getting the job since you can just be yourself. Just be yourself and let the employer know who you really are.

Of course, a job interview can be a scary thing. However, if you make sure you’re prepared, have a well-written resume, and are comfortable, calm, and confident in yourself, you’ll ace the interview and will likely get a call back in no time.

The secret to successful Kentucky crappie fishing is knowing just when you need to get out there to find the fish that are biting. Of course, it’s also quite helpful to know WHERE to go to catch a good amount of crappie or at least some nice, large slabs. Luckily, there are a lot of choices in Kentucky, and because the state is somewhat south of the extreme cold winters, the waters warm quickly in the spring, bringing the crappie to the shallows early. If you make your run to the lakes from mid-March to May, you should do well at one of several lakes that are ideal for Kentucky crappie fishing.

If you hit the lakes when water temperatures have warmed to between 55 and 65, you should try Kentucky and Barkley Lakes. Crappie tend to spawn in these temperatures and will be especially accessible in an expanded area if the water in the lakes is rising slowly. Avoid muddy lake waters, and remember that black crappie are the larger population of these areas, with fewer white crappie, and the black variety will move into shallow water sooner. Therefore, for the best Kentucky crappie fishing on these lakes, you should be prepared to get out early in the season.

You can also try the 5,700-acre Nolin River Lake, a reservoir in northwestern Kentucky, where it’s usually pretty easy to find crappie in excess of 8 inches in length. The lake is fairly deep and, due to its proximity to Louisville, you’ll find that it’s almost always busy with anglers from the city. However, there is still great Kentucky crappie fishing to be had. There are several major tributaries to the lake, which also contain a great number of crappie. Early in the spring, the crappie can be found at depths of 8-15 feet and finding cover along the dropoffs along the contours of the channels but will move to shallower depths as the lake warms, taking cover in the many brushy areas along the shoreline.

Taylorsville Lake in the heart of the state has become quite popular for Kentucky crappie fishing because there is only a 9-inch size limit on your catch. According to many anglers who frequent the lake, almost every one you catch meets that requirement. With the lack of extensive rainfall in recent years, the black crappie population has expanded in Taylorsville because they prefer the clearer waters. On the other hand, the white crappie like darker, less transparent waters and have fallen off a bit in recent years. With large schools and heavily populated waters, anglers can expect to reach the 15 fish per day limit in a short time, perhaps a couple of hours, especially if you hit the woody areas of the lake, where the Taylorsville crappie seem to prefer to take cover.

Report for the procedure wearing clean underwear and trying hard to appear cool. Fasting is such a nasty business. Strip down. Suit up. Did she say this clown-gown ties in the front or the back? It’s a joke to call this faded elephant bib a “gown.” When did all my spider veins join up to become a Brooklyn street map!?

“Follow me, please.” I feel as if I’m six and being led to the principal’s office. Turn right, then left, through these double doors, a right and another left. I will never find my clothes again. Enter Room B. where masked men hover and mumble in tongues. . . Greek, Latin, Klingon? Not one of them can be a day over 16. Shudda gone to the bathroom. “Remove your glasses, please.” So now I’m shivering, starving, cranky and blind.

I have skillfully (yes, brilliantly on occasion) sailed the treacherous shoals of the corporate world without so much as breaking a sweat, but then I wasn’t wearing paper slippers, a dust-rag dress and absolutely no underwear. Can caffeine withdrawal cause permanent brain damage?

Sit down/stand up/roll over/shoulders back/chest out/don’t breathe or move/drink all this down at once/this will only hurt a bit/try to hold it in till you get to the bathroom. Woops. What is this! Obedience school? How did I end up in a Gary Larsen cartoon?

It is well within your power to complete every medical challenge successfully and gracefully.

Rehearse

Once the details of a procedure have been explained to you, set aside time to prepare. Think through the procedure several times (in as much detail as possible) as if you were watching a movie. Keep it simple. You don’t have to administer this procedure. You simply have to endure it. Picture the desired outcome. As you watch your mind-movie, keep your eyes closed, your body completely relaxed and (most important) your breathing deep, slow and steady. A couple repetitions will usually do the trick. When it is time for the actual test, commit to this same slow-paced breathing.

Relax

Mental and physical tension creates and magnifies discomfort. If the procedure brings on brief and unavoidable pain, relax into it. Breathe into it rather than fighting against it. Tension sets up a vicious cycle: the more it hurts, the tighter you get and the tighter you get, the more it hurts. Break this cycle by keeping your muscles relaxed and your breathing steady.

Remember

The medical staff works for you. All their attention is focused on completing your procedure perfectly the very first time. Their preoccupation may make you feel invisible and insignificant but it is difficult for them to do their best job and be warm and fuzzy at the same time. This is not the time to engage them in conversation about how insensitive your mother-in-law was about the turkey stuffing.

Know that even the most sophisticated and experienced adults (yes, doctors, nurses and SWAT cops) feel vulnerable under these circumstances. Apprehension about test results and loss of control can make anyone feel like a private in boot camp instead of a general. This is not boot camp and you are still the general in charge of your own mind and body.

Research

Do your homework. Don’t be shy about discussing with your doctor the details of your test, your condition and how to interpret the results. There are wonderful medical reference books and online sites that explain your procedure in detail so you will know in advance exactly what to expect.

If you don’t own a computer, go to the library and use the computer there. A patient, experienced, understanding librarian will assist if you need guidance. Online sites are rich with valuable information that can ease your concerns. However, online medical sites do not grant you a medical degree but do help you become a wiser patient. You will find clear answers to logical questions. Why and how is this test performed? What should I do to prepare and what follow-up information should I expect? Are there questions I should bring up to the doctor or nurse? What are the risks? How will the test feel? Take the mystery out of the situation.

Rein in your imagination

Don’t bite off more than you can chew. “My cousin’s neighbor’s son-in-law’s boss had this exact same procedure and he dropped dead as a doornail within the hour. DEAD!” This kind of creative fiction is rarely accurate and is always counterproductive. Stay focused on what is necessary to get you through the next five minutes.

Record

Prepare in advance a concise and detailed list of your allergies, your current medications, and the symptoms that led to this procedure. Don’t assume that the technicians will have an up-to-date list or that your memory will be reliable.

Rejoice

You have easy access to medical tests, procedures and shared information that doctors in other countries can only dream about. Unlike your parents and grandparents you have the opportunity to find a problem while it is still small instead of simply waiting for the dreaded symptoms. You have access to techniques and equipment that will almost always put the odds in your favor. Best of all, you are born into an era when prevention is as important as treatment. You are part of a new generation of doctors who have been trained to include the patient as a valued part of the medical team.

Request

Request a printed detailed copy of all test results. There is always a minute-by-minute log describing your surgery and most lab reports come with a definition of each test and the normal range for each. Order your own copies of important X-rays. Label medical files carefully. Inform your family where the files are kept.

Reward

Set a land speed record for the nearest giant cheeseburger and double latte. Back to your former glory – worldly, confident, and wearing underwear.

Revenge

Vow to correct everything possible in your life that could have led to the need for this concern. Always schedule an annual checkup and never avoid a procedure that could improve or even save your life.
